PARITAS RABUNG (balancing roof)
is a concept which driven by symmetrical patterns found in the local ornaments. The balanced roof was developed not just figuratively but also literally. A giant wall cut through diagonally into the site driven by structural grids, this automatically creates two zonation, the curb and the boarding area. A mirroring structures are erect on both zones with tilted large roof overhangs which sliced by the diagonal walls to reformed the building silhouette. As a result, the building mass conveys an effortless landmark on the exterior while maintaining different optical interior qualities for the users to perceive, which conclude the embodiment of Paritas Rabung.
