1st prize winner - Tulang Bawang Barat National Design competition

Tulang Bawang Barat, a new regency of Lampung has grown rapidly building its infrastructure throughout out the years. “Come back to the future” was one of the government visions to create a responsive high tech regency with having strong roots to its original tradition.

The design approach was to make a representative “face” of the government / people of Tubaba. We respond the the local’s best values, such as the culture itself, spirituality and the vast agriculture. With 5ha of site area, the government complex sets as along the back to express the vernacular shaped roof, opening its doors to the public. While mosque and hall act as spiritual and agriculture “face” which become the foreground of the whole complex.
